Submission - CREATE-DB-SCRIPT.sql

+3 votes

We used a Python script to construct our DB using the data we pulled through the API, and this script includes all the sql code to create the tables and populate them. Is it ok to submit this script instead of a '.sql' file?

In the project instructions they explicitly asked for a SQL file for the creation of the DB:

You will submit your source code and your SQL file that creates the DB as well as the documentations ...

Just extract the CREATE queries from your python code to a separate SQL file and leave the INSERT queries as is.
