Using INTERSECT and EXCEPT in the test

+5 votes

We were told that 'INTERSECT' and 'EXCEPT' are missing from MySQL

(And saw an example of using 'EXISTS' and 'NOT EXIST' to replace them)

Are we allowed to use them in the test?

Different reason but same question - can we use LIMIT in the exam?
We weren't allowed to use it in H.W #1.
+ Same question about FULL OUTER JOIN
